I'm up for three more months of programming on Monero.
Predicted areas of work will include GUI work for mitigations, more bulletproofs work, and probably various things that will come up without warning. Hopefully an incremental for the new monero-blockchain-blackball tool so it can update often. And more code review, of which there is more and more. And something related to RPC and third party nodes which I've been working on.

Current Monero price is $342 $310 $260, based on cryptocurrencyprices.net since moneropric.es seems to require javascript now. At an indicate rate of $30 + 0.1 an hour, that brings the donation goal to 98 102 112 monero.

Third milestone done:

  • adaptive connection timeouts
  • SSL support (might not end up being used)
  • txpool verification speedups
  • db update to store rct outputs distribution
  • some more speedups for bulletproofs
  • quantize refresh start height for privacy
  • fallback for invalid hash chain in wallet
  • cold signing with bulletproofs
  • more work on rpc payments
  • misc other bugfixes and improvements

Second milestone done:

Note: a fair amount of those are not PRed yet because they build upon others which aren't merged yet

  • Blockchain pruning (a new node can still fully verify the chain)
  • blockchain sync improvements
  • race fix when adding the same tx twice to the txpool
  • warn when no incoming connections are detected for a while
  • fix LMDB safe mode not engaging when it should
  • alt_chain_info can give more info about a given chain
  • more unit tests
  • Bulletproof optimizations
  • Pippenger multiexp with sarang
  • faster wallet refresh
  • less load on the daemon when serving blocks and txes
  • speedup category lookups in log system
  • timeout system for RPC connections
  • random more minor fixes and improvements

I subscribe to the Github feed and I'm constantly amazed at how much work you put in. You and Stoffu do so mcc for this community. Yes I will contribute.

  • Various optimizations for wallet refresh (node and wallet)
  • Speedups for some RPC, and logging filtering
  • Support for additional pubkeys in cn_deserialize
  • Detect identical rings reuse to determine spent outputs
  • version RPC and commands
  • Log stack trace on crash, and some work to getting this on non Linux
  • More unit tests (ringdb, threadpool)
  • Fix fallback seed node connections
  • Fix building with older unbound
  • Fix problems restarting due to txpool state
  • And the usual random selection of fixes and tweaks
