Hello,

One of the CryptoNote-based coins, Monero, has been affected by malicious activity on September 4th 2014 in which the Merkle root calculation vulnerability was successfully exploited. under live balances in the monero coin there is a warning to make sure i am on the correct fork. i am still a newbie so how would i confirm if i am on the correct fork?

Please help

This is not the correct platform for asking these questions. Please go to the IRC channel #monero or reddit.com/r/monero for better help. If you go to IRC, be patient as you wait for a response.
