The following message was posted on the XMR Speculation thread on 12/25/2017 at the BitcoinTalk.org forum before I was banned 7 days from posting and messaging.

I am continuing the giveaway here in case this does not run afoul yet again of forum rules :) The original rules still apply. I have tried to keep up with people claiming dates at BitcoinTalk.org the best as I can. Obviously, members from this forum are also eligible to participate.

In the spirit of holidays and giving, I'd like to try out a game similar to the one that is being occasionally played in the legendary BTC Wall Observer thread, so here it goes:

I will give out a total of 10 XMR to the person(s) that have correct or closest guess when Monero hits 777 USD

Rules of the game:

1. Reference prices are Bittrex and Poloniex, meaning that the $777 price must be hit on both exchanges for payout to occur. In case Coinbase lists Monero, then it will be added to this list, so there will be 3 reference prices in that case.

2. Each person can claim only one date.

3. Each date can be claimed by at most 2 forum handles.

4. Reference time zone is UTC (with regard to time of the day when the $777 price is hit)

5. In case $777 is hit on different dates, then all people that guessed at least one of the correct dates will split the 10 XMR with 20% added to each person. For example, if 4 people hit the correct date they get 10/4 + 0.2*10/4 = 3 XMR each.

6. In case nobody hits the date, then people at closest +n and -n dates with guesses from the correct one will split 5 XMR, people at the +m and -m dates where m > n will split 3 XMR, and people at +k and - k dates k > m > n will split 2 XMR. As an example, assume the $777 price is hit on 5/29, and there are guesses at 5/24, 5/27, 5/28, 5/30, 5/31. The guesses from 5/28 and 5/30 are closest i.e. +1 and -1 from the actual date, so they split 5 XMR; 5/27 and 5/31 split 3 XMR (+2 and -2 from actual date), and 5/24 split 2 XMR (-5 from actual date).

7. Acceptable guesses are 1/1/2018 through 12/31/2018. If Monero does not hit $777 in 2018, then the 10 XMR will go to the Monero Development Fund.

8. Deadline for entering in the game is 1/1/2018 00:00 UTC
