Winter chills are kicking in, and I was wondering if anyone in this place runs a small rig for heating. If anyone has experience with ~1000W or less mining rigs and wants to share their thoughts, I would love to hear about it.
Links are fine as well.
Efficiency? AMD vs NVIDIA (on inexpensive/cheap rigs?) If anyone's got any thoughts on the matter, I would love to hear them, cause it is getting cold out here, and I would rather mine than buy another toaster oven.

AMD R9 390x are using much electricity :P ~300W each for 800h/s modded AMD RX 470/480 hash almost as fast, but only consume 130-150W each

I started mining recently on my desktop with one gtx 1070. If I am to belive what ccminer says I'm getting ~700 H/s with only 55% TDP power consumption.
